  Took my girlfriend and parents here to celebrate her Master's graduation. Pleasant booking and seating experience but went steeply downhill from there. ALL the dishes we ordered had an inordinate amount of salt poured on them - as if the kitchen hand making it had decided that hardened arteries was the theme of the side dishes - this is coming from a Filipino (we LOVE saltiness and flavour). Granted one of the dishes we ordered was supposed to be salty (corned wagyu beef) but salty boiled veges? Doused-in-salt potatoes (which also tasted like they had raw meat juice dropped on the same pan they were baked on). My salad with the whiting tasted like it had been soaked in brine. The bottom of my lip turned white like crusted salt on a dry bit of driftwood. The manager replaced our side dishes but no apology for the taste (it's like it was our fault it was salty), and no compensation for the dissatisfaction (for comparison est. gave me drinks - 2 mocktails - on the house when they delivered drinks a few minutes late). Sorry Neil - all-around terrible experience for me. I encourage others to stick to the other well-known fine-dining haunts.
