  First, the view is unparalleled in Sydney. And during Vivid, there's no better spot to observe the CBD light show. Second, the food is always delicious! It's the reason to come back after seeing the view. But on this occasion, the service was slow and forgetful. I'll still return for another memorable evening but they need to sort this lapse or I'll look somewhere else.

  I took a client to lunch at Cafe Sydney today. The food and the setting and the staff are all impeccable - even the harbour on this winter day gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, Cafe Sydney today though gets just one star. We were seated inside at the second table from the entrance (not a great spot but that's ok because I only booked this morning). We were then pretty much forgotten about. You're kind of ignored in that corner. I had to get up to grab our wine from the ice bucket twice, a no one is interested in taking your order or helping you with a bill. Maybe cafe Sydney is just a cafe after all?
